When trying to load http://twistedmatrix.com/trac/ with gtklauncher, it stays stuck at 47%. Also confirmed with epiphany and midori.

It's libsoup's fault. (Or really, it's the web site's fault, but apparently other browsers work around the bug somehow, and libsoup doesn't.) Moved to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=611481
