Nonsensical text to show spaces not displaying correctly

I updated to the newest build of Webkit and then started to notice text not flowing correctly that I had been entering into the site that I work on. I talked with a friend and had me type a whole bunch of nonsense into pastie.org, then copy and paste it into Textmate and then select Show Invisibles. You can see that instead of regular spaces it is a different character. What my friend said is that the character code for spaces should be 32 but what I was seeing was character code 160 or a non breaking space.

I'm attaching the text I copied and pasted from entering into the browser so you can check it out
