Summary
[Qt] Selected text becomes black, original color preserved in other browsers.

Selecting text inside a webpage changes the color of the selected text to black in the Qt demo browser. This is different behavior to Safari and Firefox, where the color of the selection text remains the same. Most strangely, the underlines of URLs are preserved in their original colors. This might be related to the Qt suggestion task :

PS I've made a guess at the webkit Version. Please check it and make any corrections if necessary.

I can reproduce it. This is a low priority bug. URL to make tests:
http://www.w3schools.com/css/tryit.asp?filename=trycss_color
On Linux, the behavior is the correct one except for underline decoration. On Mac, the text is supposed to keep its color and have a light blue overlay. With Qt, the text becomes black. This is somewhat related to
http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-1344
but not exactly. I am 99.9% the bug is in Qt though.
