Embedded videos are positioned to low. Therefore the controller is hidden. It seems to be the same problem as the following bug in chromium which is already fixed: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=29132

Thanks for reporting this! This has been looked into, and determined to be an issue in closed source Apple components. It's being tracked by Apple internally as <rdar://problem/7566722>. I don't think this Chromium issue is actually the same, but CC'ing Simon case there is any insight to gain from it.

Even though this is not a WebKit bug, a workaround was added in <http://trac.webkit.org/changeset/58982>.
