Original bug report: http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-6740 The whole map at http://vip.mapion.co.jp/front/Front?uc=4&ino=BA339336&grp=mizuho&pg=1 blinks in browser.exe Its rendering result differs from those of Safari 4 and Google 4 where only the red cursor blinks.

This looks like a bug of the GIF plugin of Qt. Pierre Rossi have fixed similar bugs before, we should as him if he know about this problem.

This is indeed a bug in Qt's GIF decoder, and not WebKit. I reopened QTBUG-6740.
