RESOLVED WONTFIX 34283
Strane color-changes when scrolling

Summary Strane color-changes when scrolling

Reported 2010-01-28 14:25:30 PST
Hi there, I have noticed this issue several times already, but haven't been able to reproduce or reduce it reliably. But at least I was able to make a short movie of it this time. So please take a look. What is happening is that certain elements, as far as I remember always tables will change their color when they are on screen and the screen is slowly scrolled (with my trackpad on this occasion). Resizing the window and scrolling the color-changing area off screen resets it, but as soon as it is on screen again the recoloring starts again. I've now seen it on <http://www.agilemodeling.com/essays/communication.htm> but haven't been able to reproduce it in a new window of the same browser or after restarting the browser (but after reloading the page (?)).

Page exist: https://agilemodeling.com/essays/communication.htm but it does not have button as shown in the video but when I take copy from Wayback Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20100322215414/https://agilemodeling.com/essays/communication.htm From March 2010 rather than January 2010, I can see the button and but it does not shift any color etc while scrolling up and down in STP180 on macOS Sonoma. It could be issue with older Safari version or macOS versions but it is not reproducible as of today. So marking this bug as 'RESOLVED WONTFIX' because it was never confirmed by any WebKit engineer. Please reopen if it is still reproducible for anyone else.
