Simply try to visit the following link with firefox or epiphany/midori webkit browsers: http://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.gentoo.org/distfiles/ With firefox, browser becomes a bit slow while page is loading, but it's still usable. On the other hand, webkit based browsers simply freeze until page is loaded and, the worst, they become slow every time I simply scroll up/down on that page (firefox behaves fine once the page is loaded) Thanks a lot
