Try clicking on one of the scrolling updates in the upper left corner:

That's Flash and apparently we tell Flash that its not a user gesture.

they added a popup ad recently, i hope it will be possible to re-enable popup blocking and still use the scrolling news

Mass closing plug-in bugs, as plug-in support has been removed from WebKit.

Please comment and/or reopen if this still affects WebKit in some way.
