Bug 281739
appears to have regressed on macOS Tahoe 26.x. The issue that was reported fixed in Safari 18.4 / macOS 15.4 is now reproducible again. Environment: macOS Tahoe 26.2 Safari Version 26.2 (21623.1.14.11.9) Steps to reproduce: Open the original test case:
https://codepen.io/Rik/pen/GRVmMRj
Or visit any page using Twemoji COLR font with emoji followed by text Expected behavior: Text following an emoji should retain its specified CSS color (e.g., rgb(46, 47, 50)). Actual behavior: Text following an emoji inherits a color derived from the emoji's COLR palette (blue, yellow, etc.), despite the computed CSS color property showing the correct value in Web Inspector.
