Recently I added a test to WPT (https://github.com/web-platform-tests/wpt/pull/56457) which tests: BFCache support for a page with an open WebSocket connection, but close it in pagehide(without any errors from websocket). Currently, this test fails in case of WebKit, but I am going to provide a fix for it in separate PR.
