Hi all! I have a PR out to update the Storage spec to include top-level site and cross-site ancestry in the Storage Key (https://github.com/whatwg/storage/pull/182). I believe that Safari has already implemented this change, but I wanted to put out a call for implementation status wrt to this GitHub PR. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Thanks for filing the bug. We do partition storage (implemented for different types at different time), and we need some improvements on it to make it fully aligned (using site instead of origin) with updated spec. The effort is tracked by https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=247732, so I am going to dupe this bug to that. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 247732 ***
