Summary [Qt] RTL: resize handle on the wrong side
Tor Arne Vestbø
Reported 2009-09-18 08:40:29 PDT
This bug report originated from issue QTBUG-1952 <http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-1952> --- Description --- Open a website which has a textarea. WebKit supports resizing the textarea by dragging the handle on the bottom right corner. However, if dir=rtl is specified for the textarea, the handle still appears on the bottom right corner. It should be on the bottom left corner instead.

Initially reported in 4.4.0. Comment present in the original bug: On Thu Apr 24 12:52:30 2008 Ariya Hidayat wrote: dhyatt points out that this needs to be Qt specific, as Mac OS X does not flip the widget layout in RTL.

Reproduced with r55986, but it's not Mac-specific, happens on Linux too.

Low priority. It is a convenience feature and no other browser put the handle on the right.
