RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 25786 Bug 28863
Random empty page with Safari 4
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28863
Summary Random empty page with Safari 4
Max
Reported 2009-08-31 19:45:02 PDT
Try loading the URL. If it loads reload. repeat until pages stays empty - this usually happens after less than 10 reloads. Now try reloading or accessing any other resource on the page (e.g. http://img.i7m.de/favicon.ico ) - it will stay empty. - This behaviour started with Safari 4 Public Beta. It does not happen in Camino - If you wait around 20 secs. and reload the page will show up again - You can't provoke a blank page by reloading a static element - Even when the page is blank other domains hosted on the same Apache work fine - The server logs show an access by Safari as well as code 200 and the same byte count as when the page successfully loads

Same issue as with bug 25786 - the server response is invalid, and the closed source network layer should be smarter about it. I'll add a comment to Apple internal bug about this. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 25786 ***
