III Conclusion: The issue is caused by the rowspan defined in the 1st row, 2nd column IV Other Browsers: IE7: ok FF3: ok V Nightly tested : 47639 Bug in Chromium : http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15092

I am going to tag other Webkit Engineers because "Safari Technology Preview 152" render it same as other browsers (Firefox Nightly 106 & Chrome Canary 107) but the padding / margin or width difference between "Botton" red border with "Some text..." box is more than others.
