With the roots I currently have on my macOS system: security verify-cert -t 'https://pypi.python.org/simple' Shows the root certificate used being: ``` ISRG Root X1 Subject Name: Country or Region: US Organization: Internet Security Research Group Common Name: ISRG Root X1 Issuer Name: Country or Region: US Organization: Internet Security Research Group Common Name: ISRG Root X1 Fingerprints: SHA-256: 96BCEC06264976F37460779ACF28C5A7CFE8A3C0AAE11A8FFCEE05C0BDDF08C6 SHA-1: CABD2A79A1076A31F21D253635CB039D4329A5E8 ``` Given some things still use pypi.python.org (rather than pypi.org), we should include this.
