Created attachment 473817 [details] A recording of the issue. Pinching to zoom forces re-coloring of the elements in question URL: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24007650/selector-in-swift To reproduce: on StackOverflow, find a code block (whose text is syntax-highlighted) wide enough to require scrolling to view. Scroll horizontally to move more text into view. Bug: the newly appeared text is not syntax-highlighted at all — it's just the default color. Fixes: both pinching to zoom and changing the size of the viewport temporarily fix this issue.

Thank you for the report. I cannot reproduce this. Could you please post your configuration (OS version, browser version in particular)? Also, does this reproduce in a private browsing window without logging in? I notice that you are using dark mode, which AFAICT is only available as a user preference when logged in. I don't have an account, so I only tried the default mode.

Yes, although less reliably than when logged in. Closing and reopening the tab (with cmd-shift-T) seems to cause it to reliably occur on the reopened tab. (I'd like to attach a recording of the issue occurring when not logged in but don't see an option to attach to a comment.)

There is an Add attachment button below the existing attachment. I was able to reproduce with Cmd-Shift-T without logging in, thank you for the hint! Most weird. Was also able to reproduce a few times when simply reloading now.

Created attachment 473827 [details] Bug demonstrated under more rigorous test conditions Not logged into StackOverflow. Also it looks like closing the tab and reopening it might be necessary for this bug to occur (unclear, but it certainly seems to lead to a 100% repro rate).
