Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a vertical video in YouTube. For example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah0Ys50CqO8 Expected output: Video is played correctly Actual output: Video is stretched on the horizontal axis

The video renders as expected here, the are vertical white borders on left and right sides to compensate the aspect-ratio.

You didn't mention which WebKitGTK version you're using. Any chance you're just missing the fix for bug #282749 from 2.46.4?

Yeah, stretched video might be a symptom of bug 282749 indeed.
