When connecting a Bluetooth headset to join a WebRTC call, the audio from the remote user is output via the headset. However, after creating local audio and video tracks and initiating a video call with the remote user, the audio from the remote user is suddenly output from the speaker. What could be the reason for this? How is audio routed in the browser’s kernel? The system default is for audio to be routed through the headset, and other audio software outputs sound through the headset as well. However, the audio from the remote user in WebRTC is output through the speaker.
