Created attachment 473096 [details] Screenshot After upgrading from 2.46.3 to 2.47.1, media controls rendering is broken; previously-rendered text doesn't go away and it quickly becomes unreadable. See attached screenshot.

Other similarly broken websites: * recpatcha on all websites (bug #282440) * slack (occasional tiling issues) * Zillow (bug #282514) They might all be this issue, but I don't know yet.

I built 2.47.1 and cannot reproduce the bug even though it's the same version of WebKitGTK as used in Ephy Tech Preview. Unfortunately, since the bug only occurs in Tech Preview, this means I won't be able to bisect it. Bisecting the flatpak build is awkward and takes too long.

I added the patch from bug #282514 to the GNOME runtime and it actually did fix this issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 282514 ***
