Summary SFSafariViewController Detection

Reported 2024-09-23 12:54:40 PDT
SFSafariViewController can be a bad experience for some users on iPhones/iPad and currently behaves in unexpected ways compared to iOS Safari (see https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=280199). Allow for someway to detect SFSafariViewController so we can help users exit to the full browser or help them understand why things don't work as expected.

The direction here would be to fix whatever is bad about it. But also, this is not really a WebKit issue in the first place, that would be up to the team at Apple that owns SFSafariViewController. You can file feedback via Feedback Assistant to reach them.
