Summary
Safari can't open the page. No space left on device.

Safari 17.6 and Safari Technology Preview 202 on macOS 14.6.1, no extensions enabled Steps to reproduce: 1) Open
https://www.espn.com/nfl/scoreboard
in a new private window. I wasn't able to reproduce in a non-private window, so that might be crucial. 2) Command-click on Box Score links to open in new tabs until the issue occurs. You may have to open 10 or so new tabs. You can use the same link every time, or different Box Score links for each tab. Result: Safari can't open the page. The error is "The operation couldn't be completed. No space left on device" (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:28) I was also able to reproduce the issue in Safari 18 on the macOS 15 beta 8. However, the error in that case was "unknown error" (NSURLErrorDoman:-1)

This actually happens with pretty much any link on espn.com. I've also found that it happens on cnn.com. Just keep command-clicking on a link in a private window.

Thank you for the report. This is an issue below WebKit. I encourage you to file a Feedback Assistant report with more data, and I can bring it to the attention of the Apple team responsible for this code. Unfortunately, this really really needs at least a `log show` that covers a long enough period of time to see how we got into the state, and most likely a sysdiagnose. There were multiple issues with such symptoms investigated and fixed over time, the latest I know about (still unfixed) being

. But more reports would be helpful.

Wait no, I could finally reproduce. I'll file the internal bug.
