Created attachment 33735 [details] Shows the excess selection on resize. What should happen: No text selection should occur when resizing a 'div' overlay ( in this case, a custom modal dialog ), referred to as "modal dialog" below. What happens: When resizing a modal dialog, often text is selected, as indicated by the blue highlighting. How to reproduce: a) Visit this page ( https://us.etrade.com:/javascript/et1/dev_tools/test/harness/modal_dialog/index-developers.html ). b) Click on the button 'Click Here to Show Modal Dialog". c) Resize the modal dialog overlay-window at a moderate speed. d) Verify excess selection as per screenshot attached. Notes ----- * The unwanted text selection does not occur on Firefox, Internet Explorer 6 through 8, and Opera. * Importance: This bug affects functionality in production on etrade.com.
