Created attachment 472088 [details] HTML showing text overlapping a floating image To avoid WebKit Bug #212505, we make use of “padding-top” — and zero out “margin-top” — for some floating images. This has worked well for us until Sonoma. Unfortunately, there appears to be a regression that now causes text to overlap floating images at the top of a column (in some cases).

Tested in Safari 18.0 (20619.1.18.11.1) on Sequoia 15.0 Beta (24A5279h), and the bug still manifests.
