Created attachment 471489 [details] JPEG version: colors are OK An AVIF image opened directly into Safari is displayed with SDR colors instead of HDR if it has a P3 Display ICC profile. If the same file is in a web page (with an img tag), the colors are OK. This is not a big problem, until you try to fix an ICC bug in you image processing workflow, and check the result by drag'n'dropping the files in a Safari window :-/ The AVIF version has been generated with Imagemagick with no option (convert xxx.jpg xxx.avif), the photo has been taken with an iPhone XS (resized with Preview/EXIF data have been stripped using exiftool).
