Description php4fan 2024-03-18 16:47:57 PDT
Steps to reproduce:

1. In Telegram Desktop, open any bot's webapp, for example open a chat with @DurgerKingBot and click "Order Food"
2. Check CPU consumption

With the DurgerKing webapp, the WebkitWebProcess process will consume about 30% CPU constantly, which is ridiculously high for such a stupidly simple html page with a few static images and nothing else.

With a webapp of mine which I can't share here, which was a similarly simple html page with a few dozens static images and one single very minimal css animation, CPU consumption was constantly around 260%.

TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY PERCENT. (the exact same html page in Chrome consumes no noticeable CPU at all).
