Load the testcase that I'm about to attach (it's most obvious if you turn on the debug layer borders). Note how the elements don't drop out of compositing mode in order; some stick in layers longer than their neighbors, and sometimes you'll see an extra little jiggle on one of the boxes. This indicates some timing issue in AnimationController with delay.
