build of 2.43.3 on gnu-linux/X86_64/gcc-13.2.0 with:

I get a first stop with:

If I just invert those two options to:

-DENABLE_JOURNALD_LOG=ON

(everything else unchanged)

the build completes successfully.

I do not use systemd (although I have it available in a non standard
location), so, if disabling those two options is still supported, I
think this should be fixed
