I was able to reproduce the failure at iOS17 Release ToT running the test as follows:

run-webkit-tests --ios-simulator imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-cascade/scope-hover.html

Further, I was able to bisect down to a regression point. This last reproduces at 271897@main, and starts passing when running the test at 271896@main
