https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26107
Summary WebKit Gtk+ fails to load www.wachovia.com
Justin Hibbits
Reported 2009-05-31 11:42:25 PDT
When browsing to www.wachovia.com, webkit, via both GtkLauncher and Midori browser, instead returns the error "Unable to load page", with an error of "Connection terminated unexpectedly." Using webkit svn as of 2009-05-31, also tested with webkit/gtk+ 1.1.7, and libsoup 2.4, gtk 2.16.1, glib 2.20.1

(In reply to comment #1) > Correction, libsoup 2.26.1 > I believe this was fixed in libsoup this past week. Works fine here with a recent checkout of libsoup. Can you please try grabbing a recent libsoup and let us know? Thanks.

It does mostly seem to be fixed in libsoup 2.26.2, thanks. But, an odd occurance in this, which I also see in Konqueror 4, so might be a bug from khtml merges since khtml doesn't use libsoup, is that when going to www.wachovia.com/myaccounts, it infinitely refreshes. Logging into my account through the front page works correctly. I'll try a CVS checkout of libsoup and an updated webkit to see if that problem's fixed.

The weird refresh bug is still seen with webkit svn:r45557 and libsoup 2.26.3, but every other issue with wachovia.com seems to have been fixed.

I can access www.wachovia.com/myaccounts using libsoup HEAD (~2.27.3). Can you confirm if a master copy of libsoup fixes this issue?

I can confirm that using libsoup from master does work correctly.

This should work in libsoup 2.27.4 and WebKitGtk 1.1.11 now. Thanks for the bug report.

Seems this bug creeped back in somewhere with libsoup 2.28.0 and webkit-gtk 1.1.15.2
