Description fienddl 2009-05-23 06:21:07 PDT
I tried to use some CSS commands (height, background, padding and pseudo-classes like :after or :hover) with <option>-elements, but they all didn't work. Only font-size and color seemed to be supported (I didn't test all commands).

I've also tried to make these commands work in Firefox (Gecko 1.9 and Gecko 1.9.1) and there everything works properly.

I'm not sure if this bug report is useful in its current form - are there any specific decorations that you want to use and that aren't covered by the aforementioned bugs? Due to different look of Mac controls, enabling arbitrary styles would likely regress usability of some sites that were designed with Windows look in mind.

This bug doesn't seem actionable in its current form.
