In IE8 and FF3 the rendering of the page is as it was supposed to be, but on WebKit (Safari/Chrome), the first column gets reduced. This page is generated by an old system, I've analyzed the code and didn't find any problems.

We don't have any test case or reduction, additionally I was not able to find any copy from Wayback Archive, so I am going to mark this as "RESOLVED WONTFIX", if you have any test case or link, please reopen. Thanks!
