The commit message says: > This patch aligns WebKit with Blink / Chromium and Gecko / Firefox. But the WPT results clearly show differences remain, and indeed some of these (admittedly tentative) tests regress from stable to STP. See also https://github.com/web-platform-tests/wpt/pull/23781 where these tests were introduced. It's not implausible we want to allow for platform-specific differences here with how modifiers behave, but we should fix the regression either by fixing WebKit or fixing the test.
