RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 5909 25054
Repaint error from Digg toolbar border when loaded in the background

Summary Repaint error from Digg toolbar border when loaded in the background
Matt Lilek
Reported 2009-04-05 20:33:31 PDT
1) Open a new Safari window and paste <http://digg.com/d1nzN6> in the address bar. 2) Press enter while holding down Cmd to load it in a background tab. 3) Switch to that tab and scroll down, then up. The 1px border on the bottom of the Digg toolbar leaves trails all over the page. Forcing a repaint fixes it. It seems to only happen when it's loaded in the background. Happens in Safari 3, 4 and ToT (r42233).

I see the same problem in foreground tabs with Safari 4, but not with Safari 3.2.1. Reproduces for me with Safari 4 on 10.5.6 with: - command-N to make a new window - type or paste in the URL above (<http://digg.com/d1nzN6>) - hit Page Down key - hit Page Up key

Created attachment 29623 [details] Reduction Here is a reduction. Two-finger scrolling does not work to reproduce the bug with the reduction though…you need to drag the scrollbar up and down with the mouse.
