Created attachment 463325 [details] Image showing the Untitled back link on iOS 16 Web sites/apps added to the HomeScreen on iPadOS and iOS show an in-app webview when navigating to external links. When tapping the "open in Safari" button from this webview, the back link displayed shows "Untitled". This is also true when navigating to universal links.

Previously reported here as bug 217755, but as mentioned there: (Smoley from comment #2) > Thanks for filing, I believe the issue is occurring outside of WebKit. Apple > internal see rdar://54220296.

Not sure how to say this politely but "RESOLVED" hardly seems like an appropriate response here? The linked ticket (#217755) is from oct 2020 (2.5 yrs ago). Can someone please reach out internally and get this on someone's (real, actual) radar? Thanks :)

Please ignore the “resolved invalid” categorization. The truth is more like “Thank you. We’ve moved this ticket along to the appropriate venue. We are closing this particular copy of this bug report, since the WebKit open source project has no further action it can take to resolve this bug.” We definitely care. And the right folks are taking a look. Thank you for filing.

The correct state for this bug is RESOLVE | MOVED, since the bug is in an external system component, not WebKit. The bug fix is being tracked in <rdar://54220296>.
