On Udemy.com and other similar websites, video often does not resume after being paused.

Is there any way for us to reproduce this? Opening udemy.com, I don't see any videos that would be free to play.

Let me set up a scenario that makes it easy to reproduce and get back to you. Not sure if I can reproduce using the free videos.

Here is an example of the issue raised. The behavior is not reproducible in Chrome or other browsers.

The only way to get the playback interaction to work again is to reload the page.

Initially reported while using a 2018 i5 macMini w/ 32GB RAM & 512GB SSD
Also tested on a 2015 Core i7 MacBook Air w/ 8GB RAM & 512GB SSD

Which version of Safari and macOS are you reproducing this issue on?

Currently, I am running the following:

Version 15.3 (17612.4.9.1.8)
macOS Monterey 12.2.1 (21D62)

I will try to reproduce the bug and get back to you. Basically, it happens intermittently after I pause the video, switch to another Space, then back to Safari and try to play. Hope that helps.
