Do you have Safari extensions installed? Does disabling them fix this?

the bug occurs only occasionally disabling extensions, reloading the page and cleaning cache has no effect, in this broken state only a restart helps also i remember somewhat similar thing happened in PDF files (pages would stop to render), but not sure if it still happens and if it is caused by the same bug will report back when i'm able to trigger it again thanks

When this happens, can you find the PID of the WebProcess for that tab in Activity Monitor, and then run 'sample <pid>' and attach the output?

macOS Big Sur 11.6 (20G165) MacBook Pro 13 (2017), Two Thunderbolt 3 ports, 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM no external display/graphics, resolution set to "Scaled" the bug started happening after Safari got updated to new look
