The slideshow images in this NYTimes Olympics feature fades poorly. It looks fine on Chrome.

I cna see images fading using STP 131 on macOS 11.5.3. If you can reproduce this, please specify what configuration you are using.

Actually, I can see some flashes of black as images start to fade. Is this what you see?
