I Steps:
1. go to your sites.google.com website 
2. In your homepage, click on edit page button 
3. Table > insert table
4. Try to resize the table

II Issue:
Selected contents of page are being edited instead of table being resized.

III Other Browsers:
IE7: ok
FF3: ok

IV Nightly tested: 39088
