Google Finance graphs causing WebKit lock-ups

Summary Google Finance graphs causing WebKit lock-ups
KF
Reported 2008-12-09 13:46:53 PST
When using 2-finger touchpad scrolling, if the cursor happens to go across a Google Finance graph, WebKit becomes unresponsive and the twirling beach ball makes an appearance. Scrolling over a graph typically zooms in or out, but if done too quickly, the browser crashes. Similarly, if scrolling through the page and a graph is scrolled over, the browser locks up.

I'm observing this behavior, too. Running Mac OS X 10.5.6, Webkit r39903 (nightly build), and using a MacBook Pro with an Apple Mighty Mouse attached. If I move the scroll ball with the cursor positioned inside a stock history chart, WebKit eventually locks up and I have to Force Quit the application. I've attached the log generated by the Force Quit.
