Currently when you use the semantic <ins> and <del> elements, this information is not communicated to VoiceOver users. A good example is h https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Accessibility_of_Wikipedia,_a_March_2021_use_test_session&diff=next&oldid=21317059&diffmode=visual where the <ins> and <del> elements are read as normal text to VoiceOver users and you have no idea something was added/scrapped from the document.

This works now in iOS 16.1.1 and later. Haven't tested on new macOS yet.

Tested 13.0.1 and it does not yet feature VoiceOver support for <ins> and <del>. It seems only iOS got this improvement so far.

You are correct — we had to revert a small but critical portion of this change for macOS. I will update this bug (or post a patch with a fix) when we can bring the necessary changes back safely.
