Repro steps are as follows:

(1) Start VoiceOver
(2) Go to https://codepen.io/toddlr/pen/MWbbree
(3) Use VoiceOver navigation (e.g. Control-Option-Right Arrow) to navigate to an expanded ARIA treeitem instance
(4) Click the expanded ARIA treeitem by pressing Control-Option-Space
(6) Observe nothing happens
