I cannot reproduce this. Can you please provide more information, such as which version of WebKit you are using, and which version of Safari you are using? Does it reproduce with Safari by itself? Do you have any Safari extensions installed?

This happens on an up to date Safari, no extensions installed. Version 3.1.2 (5525.20.1) I also tested on the nightly, which shows the same version number. The window appears on any new window after POST. Eg go to Wikipedia, edit an article, click preview to POST, then use command-N to create a new window. Opening multiple new windows will open a ghost window each time. The window position seems fixed, check in Exposé if you don't see it around.

I cannot reproduce this on Wikipedia either. This dialog is something that is displayed by Safari rather than WebKit, so if there's a problem here it is almost certainly due to something that Safari is doing. You should file a bug report at <
http://bugreport.apple.com/
> including steps to reproduce the problem. It would also be useful to include a copy of Safari's preferences (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist) in case one of the settings there is required to reproduce the problem. Since this issue is very likely to be outside of WebKit, this bug will be closed as INVALID to indicate that it is a non-WebKit problem.
