Description nico 2008-11-07 02:36:41 PST
(build r38209, but has been happening for a few weeks)

When a tab is fullpage zoomed, and the images are zoomed as well,
opening a link in a new tab (only tried while remaining in the same tab)
re-renders the current tab while returning the images to 100% and
keeping the text zoomed.
The zoom values are kept, though. If you zoom in or out right after that,
the increment picks up where it should have been (for the whole page,
images included).

normal behavior would keep the image zoom as is of course.

macos 10.5.5 on 8 core 3ghz intel powermac.

I'm experiencing the same bug as well and in practice it renders the page zoom feature pretty much useless. It seems to me that whenever a new window or tab is opened, the behaviour of page zoom of all open tabs and windows is degraded to the same behaviour as seen in old versions of Safari/WebKit that didn't have the page zoom feature.
