Summary
tabs are rendered halfway invisible
Paul de Haan
Reported

A junk-site with semi-windows-virus checking renders the tabs halfway invisible. Somhow, different window-dimensions are set and the tabs are overwritten. Closing the tab causing this problem, doesn't solve the problem. Tabs are overwritten bij the contents of the page. Opening a new window though, it starts as expected.

What tabs are you referring to? I do not see any on that website.

I had several tabs open in one window. When i opened the site in a new tab, the problem appeared.

Are you referring to Safari's tabs rather than tabs as part of the website content?

I had several tabs open in safari. From a google search in one of the tabs, i command-clicked the site. It opened in a new tab. The rendering of the contents of that site did overwrite the visible tabs. Only some 2-3 pixels of the characters describing the name of a tab were visible. The weird thing is that the contents of this page are different today. Not the same effect in other words, hence I understand your questions. Trying to dig through my history, I found back the actual link, so my apologies.

Checked it twice to see if it was reproducible. It was. Regards, Paul

Though you did not answer my question, I'm guessing that you're referring to Safari's tabs rather than tabs that are part of the website content. Safari's tabs are part of the Safari application and are not part of WebKit. Bugs in Safari should be filed at <
http://bugreport.apple.com
>. Per our policy for handling bugs outside of WebKit, this report will be closed as INVALID.
