I Steps: Go to http://qd.house.sina.com.cn/ Observe the dropdown options height, say dropdown next to 楼盘搜索: II Issue: height of dropdown options is less as compared to other browsers. III Conclusion: When specify the style "select,input {font-size:12px;}", chrome/safari render a smaller height of select box than IE/FF, but renders a same height of text box with IE/FF. IV Other Browsers: IE7: ok FF3: ok V Nightly tested: 37604

This is dependent on platform conventions. If you require a particular height for the <select>, specify the height explicitly. As such, I'm marking this as WONTFIX.
