Picture of the failed image object instead of the real picture

I created an Onenote web app with Web on Ubuntu 20.04. I noticed then, that when I try to copy an image with the clipboard (a `ctrl-c` command or a copy from a screenshot) and paste (`ctrl-v`) in the web app it does not support it.

The final result is what you see on the image (and failed image object). It can be done only by import the image from the file system (Nautilus in my case)

Does this happen with other websites? or is it specific to Onenote?

I have only installed as a webapps from epiphany(gnome web 3.36.1): Onenote, Word, OnlyOffice and Outlook. In Word happens the same problem (a wrong image object), in Onlyoffice It did not even work, and in Outlook is not possible to try because it uses HTML old email style.

So, you mean it only happens when using ephy web apps?
Comment 5 Luis Baquero 2020-05-26 03:31:00 PDT
Yes, only with web apps

I'm going to assume this is the same issue as bug #218519.

> Yes, only with web apps

That is *almost* unbelievable. There should be no differences between pasting to a web app vs. pasting in normal browser mode....
