I am able to reproduce this issue in Safari 15.6.1 on macOS 12.5.1 using attached test case where making selection from table-caption to body will push selection to above body into title similar to reference screenshot from STP 99. This is also present in Safari Technology Preview 151 while Firefox Nightly 105 and Chrome Canary 105 does not have this selection issue and table-caption to body does not lead to selection creep into title area. Thanks!
