Created attachment 23186 [details] Screen shot of activity monitor... The last few builds have exhibited mouse response problems. When the click opens another Page the link page opens but the active window reminds the original.

When exactly does it hit 100% cpu (doing what action) and for how long? I couldn't get it to break 80% CPU on my MBP in a debug build...

When this site http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php is first opened the system reacts as expected. On my MBP OSX 10.5.5 2meg RAM with a wireless super mouse when the scroll ball is moved it takes approximately 3 seconds for a move to happen. Clicking on the scroll arrow results in a 2 second delay. All moves are large distance.

Created attachment 23554 [details] Screen shot of delayed mouse action Go to this site http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php With build r36604 the delay in mouse response has increased to more than 3 seconds. my MBP 17" OSX 10.5.5 with a wireless super mouse. Use the the scroll ball and the page will not scroll for up to 5 seconds after the action. The dock will get stuck up even though the mouse is long gone. This has been a problem for a few weeks.

I don't see problems on this site in 2022. Not sure what further action we can take here.
