Hello!

The problem is simple to state....

http://www.zfirm.com/Product_Documentation/ShipRush_v6-0_endicia/

(and many many related urls) are generated with robohelp.
In chrome, the TOC and index, etc which should appear in the left hand pane is... missing!

A small write up of the issue, with pictures and arrows, is here:

Thanks!!

The URL you reference works correctly for me in Safari 3.1.2 and with TOT WebKit. Can you reproduce this problem with a recent build of WebKit?

This seems to be chrome-specific, and should be filed in Chromium's bug tracker.

Closing.

This shot shows the problem site in Safari 3.1.2

note, I am on Windows XP. FWIW, I have 3 monitors, but always use browser on primary monitor. (I do not think # of monitors is relevant at all)

Ok, this appears to be Windows-specific in some fashion. I had a colleague test in a recent WebKit build on Windows and they see the same issue.

Since the problem is visible in stock safari 3.1.2 on windows, it is a live issue?

Or must safari be updated with a newer webkit to see the fix?

At what point does this become a confirmed bug in webkit?
Comment 8 Eric Seidel (no email) 2008-09-04 17:53:15 PDT
It should be confirmed already. :) Mark confirmed it.
