Created attachment 388142 [details] process sample Every few days I notice STP spinning a core, ie taking 100% CPU. This is not in the process listing as a 'page', but just 'Safari Technology Preview' - ie the main process. It occurs about once or twice a week. I use STP almost exclusively for my web browsing. I'm using STP 98 on MacOS 10.15.3 Beta (19D62e) - though I've seen the same behaviour for a month or so. I will attach a spindump and sample - since from a user's perspective I have no idea of what may be causing this - a particular site, plugin or similar. Maybe synchronization.

Created attachment 388144 [details] process listing
Created attachment 388145 [details] image of browser - showing just a few tabs
Closing all tabs except this one - no change
Closed all tabs - problem remained. Exited process, relaunched STP, and CPU useage back to normal
Sample and spindump implicate RemoteWebInspector.

Nigel, we haven't seen many reports of this. Have you encountered it recently with newer STP? If so, please file a report at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com and include a sysdiagnose so I can see webinspectord logs around when the spin starts. Please post the feedback ID here so I can correlate. Thanks!
I have not seen this in the last 2 months... will open again if I do see issues, suggest closed now
